This change of weather made me want something warm and good to eat, so I made some sweet plantains!
This is super easy to make! Not to mention yummy!
Chop the bananas in small even sizes. (Tip: The thinner the slices, the quicker it cooks).
I used 2 large plantains and added about 1/4 cup of brown sugar. (I put that on basically everything). Then, evenly mix and coat the bananas with the brown sugar.
Set up a small non-stick pan on low to medium heat, and coat the pan with a thin layer of cooking oil. Once you see that the bottom side is turning brown, you're ready to flip. (Tip: The bananas cook quickly, so try not to leave the stove). The brown sugar makes these "bubbling" sounds as it heats up. >.<
When you get the brown sugar to a nice crisp consistency, these bananas are ready to serve.
Enjoy!
