mummy chocolate cake pops

I thought I'd make some halloween-inspired cake pops...

To start, you need a few simple ingredients
cake crumbs
frosting
cream cheese
lollipop sticks
semi-sweet chocolate chips
white chocolate chips
vegetable oil
sandwich bag
You will also need:
styrofoam block

(This recipe makes about 14 cake pops)

Step 1: Bake chocolate cake in a 13x9 pan. 
Step 2: In a bowl, use & crumble 1/3 of the cake.
Step 3: Add 2 ounces of chocolate cake frosting, and 1 ounce of regular Philadelphia cream cheese into the cake crumbles, then mix until you get a dough consistency. (Tip: the dough should not be sticky).
Step 4: Shape the dough into balls.
Step 5: Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 30-second intervals. Heat twice, and stir in between.
Step 6: Dip lollipop sticks into the melted chocolate, and stick in the cake balls.
Step 7: Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Step 8: Add vegetable oil into the melted chocolate to thin the chocolate. Add a little bit of oil at a time, stirring in between to achieve a perfect consistency. (For these, I added about 4-6 tablespoons of oil into 1/2 a cup of the melted chocolate).
Step 9: After 15 minutes, remove the cake pops from the freezer and dip each into the melted chocolate. 
Step 10: Stick into styrofoam block to cool. 
Optional Step: Decorate with white chocolate =) I used a sandwich bag and filled it with some melted white chocolate. Then cut the sandwich bag at the tip like so...
