DIY chair-make-over

this happened this week...
I was on my way to do errands earlier this week, and drove past this on my neighbors street...
It was a good chair to make into a DIY project. The hardest part was trying to decide on a color to paint it... the second hardest part was sanding the wood, especially the legs of the chairs... after we machine-sanded it, we hand-sanded the legs and backs of the chairs...
after sanding, prime paint the chairs, we used this brand, which we bought at a local Home Depot...
then, let the primer set and dry (only takes about 10-15 minutes)... then start coating on the color of choice...
it took us about 30 minutes at the store to choose this color....bu we are very happy with the results...
unfortunately, one of the chairs we found didn't have a back to it, so it looks very much like a stool more than anything, but it still looks good...
Here they are in action... (it's a working progress, we still need to style the table (from IKEA)

Enjoy!
